Many churches start teaching that you have to get baptized, turn from your sins, and live a better life to enter heaven. This is absolutely false doctrine. They are trusting in themselves and in their merits hoping they are good enough to go to heaven. They are not trusting in Jesus alone to save them. They are trying to save themselves. The bible said this would happen.

Catholic church created the false doctrine of Purgatory. Purgatory is found no where in the bible. They believe Purgatory is a temporary punishment in hell to purify their sins before they go to heaven. This is absolutely false! Jesus already took away the punishment of hell by dying on the cross for our sins. You just have to accept Gods gift of salvation, and once you do accept it you will never go to hell.

Catholic Church create many more false doctrines including, seven sacraments, idol worship, confessing to a priest, calling priests Father, forbidding to read the bible, and celibacy.

Catholics believe they have to do certain works and change their life to be counted worthy to enter heaven. They believe if you don't serve God or live a good life you will go to hell. They are trusting in themselves and in their works to go to heaven. This is absolutely false doctrine. They are not trusting Jesus alone as their saviour. The bible says going to heaven is a free gift free.
