1. Marry a believing virgin

Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Lev 21:7 They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.

Lev 21:13 He shall take a wife in her virginity.

Lev 21:14 A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.

Num 36:6 This is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry. 

2. Have children

Gen 3:16 Thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Gen 1:28 God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

3. Don’t eat blood

Gen 9:4 Flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.

Lev 7:26 Ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast.

Lev 17:12 No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.

Lev 19:26 Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood.

4. Don't fear

Gen 15:1 The LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

Gen 26:24 I am the God of Abraham thy father: fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee. 

Deu 1:21 Fear not, neither be discouraged.

Deu 3:22 Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you.

Deu 7:18 Thou shalt not be afraid of them.

Deu 7:21 Thou shalt not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty God and terrible.

5. Obey God

Gen 17:1 The LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Exo 23:25 Ye shall serve the LORD your God.

Lev 11:45 I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

Lev 18:4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.

Lev 19:37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.

6. Teach God

Exo 7:2 Thou shalt speak all that I command thee.

Exo 18:20 Thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

Exo 19:5 These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Exo 4:12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.

Exo 4:15 Thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.

Exo 24:1 LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.

2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

2Ti 4:5 Do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

7. Teach children God

Exo 13:14-16 It shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage: And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem. And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.

Deu 6:7 Thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Deu 11:19 Ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Deu 32:46 Ye shall command your children to observe to do all the words of this law.

Psa 78:5-7  For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his command ments:

Eph 6:4 Bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. 

8. Dont have gods before God

Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Deu 5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me. 

9. Dont make idols

Exo 20:4-5 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God.

Exo 20:23 Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.

Exo 23:24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.

Exo 34:14 Thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

Exo 34:17 Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.

Lev 19:4 Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.

Lev 26:1 Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

10. Dont say Gods name in vain

Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Lev 19:12 Ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

Deu 5:11 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. 

11. Honor your parents

Exo 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Lev 19:3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father.

Eph 6:1-3 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

Col 3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

12. Dont kill

Exo 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

Deu 27:24 Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly.

Deu 27:25 Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person.

Rev 21:8 Murderers shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone.

13. Dont commit adultery

Exo 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Lev 18:20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her.

Deu 5:18 Neither shalt thou commit adultery.

Eze 16:32 But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!

Heb 13:4 Whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

14. Dont steal

Exo 20:15 Thou shalt not steal.

Lev 19:11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely.

Lev 19:13 Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him:

Lev 19:35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.

Eph 4:28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

15. Dont lie

Exo 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Exo 23:1 Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

Exo 23:7 Keep thee far from a false matter.

Lev 19:11 Neither lie one to another.

Num 30:2 If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

Deu 23:23 That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.

Ecc 5:5-6 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay. Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin;

Jer 9:5 They will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.

16. Dont covet

Exo 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Deu 7:25 Thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to the LORD thy God.

Deu 17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold. 

Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness.

17. Dont be naked

Exo 20:26 Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not discovered thereon. 

18. Restore what you destroy

Exo 22:6 If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the stacks of corn, or the standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.

19. Marry who you lay with

Exo 22:16 And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.

Deu 22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife.

20. Dont hurt others

Exo 22:21 Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Exo 22:22 Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.

Lev 25:17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God.

Deu 24:14 Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:

Deu 27:18 Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way.

Exo 22:23-24 If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry; And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.

21. Dont use others

Exo 22:25 If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

Lev 25:36 Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.

Lev 25:37 Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

Deu 23:19 Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:

Col 4:1 Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven. 

22. Dont criticize other gods

Exo 22:28 Thou shalt not revile the gods.

23. Dont curse others

Exo 22:28 Nor curse the ruler of thy people.

Lev 19:14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind.

Num 22:12 Thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed.

Num 23:8 How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?

Job 31:30 Neither have I suffered my mouth to sin by wishing a curse to his soul.

Ecc 10:20 Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber.

Psa 59:12 The sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing.

Tit 3:2 To speak evil of no man.

Jas 3:10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

1Pe 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all evil speakings,

24. Help others

Exo 23:4 If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

Exo 23:5 If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.

Deu 22:1 Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.

Deu 22:2-3 And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again. 25. Dont mention false gods

Exo 23:13 Make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

Jos 23:7 Neither make mention of the name of their gods.

26. Dont fellowship with unbelievers

Exo 23:2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil.

Exo 23:32 Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.

Lev 20:23 Ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

Deu 7:3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

Jdg 2:2 Ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land.

27. Dont favorite others

Lev 19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

Deu 1:17 Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; but ye shall hear the small as well as the great.

Deu 16:19 Thou shalt not respect persons.

1Sa 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

28. Dont gossip

Lev 19:16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD. 

29. Dont hate others

Lev 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart.

Deu 23:7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.

Gal 5:21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; hatred.

1Jn 2:11 He that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

30. Rebuke sin

Lev 19:17 Thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

Deu 16:19 Thou shalt not wrest judgment;

2 chronicles 19:10 Ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD.

Eze 3:19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Zec 7:9 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment.

Jhn 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

31. Dont take revenge

Lev 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge.

Rom 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 

32. Dont hold grudges

Lev 19:18 Nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people.

Jas 5:9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. 

33. Love everyone

Lev 19:18 Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Lev 19:34 The stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

Deu 10:19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

Zec 7:9 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

34. Dont use enchantment

Lev 19:27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

38. Help the poor

Lev 25:35 If thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.

Deu 15:7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:

39. Dont rule with rigor

Lev 25:43 Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour; but shalt fear thy God.

40. Tithe

Lev 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord's: it is holy unto the Lord.

41. Dont learn false gods

42. Confess your sins

Num 5:6-7 Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty; Then they shall confess their sin which they have done:

Pro 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Jas 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

43. Dont complain

Numbers 14:9 Only rebel not ye against the Lord.

Jos 22:18 But that ye must turn away this day from following the LORD? and it will be, seeing ye rebel to day against the LORD, that to morrow he will be wroth with the whole congregation of Israel.

Jos 22:19 Rebel not against the LORD, nor rebel against us.

66. Dont have an ego

Jer 9:23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches.

69. Dont be proud

Eze 16:49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride.

Pro 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

70. Dont observe meaningless things

Jon 2:8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

Eph 4:17-18 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

72. Dont divorce your spouse

Mal 2:16 The LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away.

Mat 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

1Co 7:10-11 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

73. Dont be a hypocrite

Job 13:16 An hypocrite shall not come before him.

Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Rom 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
